We are a part of Antioch Community Church Greater Boston. Last year a few of us went through the Training School at our church where we set aside a year to hunger for more of God and give Him everything we had while still in the context of work and community.
God moved powerfully in the Training School and our lives were changed. A major part of this was the way He met us in the secret place. This place where He draws us away to meet Him alone and spend time with Him. In these places we experienced intimacy with God in deeper levels and as we met with Him songs began to rise out of this place. We brought these songs to each other and realized God was moving in all of our lives in these intimate moments. God was teaching each one of us the importance of the secret place, of time alone with Him, and He was doing it through song!
We wanted to put an album together to not just document the powerful ways God was moving in the Training School but to release these revelations that God was giving us in hopes that it would invite others into His presence and intimacy with Him. We all carry a different piece of His image and heart and when we release them to the world we get a fuller picture of who God is.
